Social Networking is a method of meeting new people around the world. It is also a way of keeping in touch with family and friends. There are many social networking sites over the net with the most well known being Facebook and MySpace. These are not the only social networking sites on the net but there are many more good ones around.

If done successfully, everyone has the potential of earning money on any of the social networking sites within a reasonable amount of time. Internet marketers increasingly use networks to increase their own demographic, since sites such as Facebook bring in thousands of new members each month.

Using social networking as a way to promote or advertise is extremely beneficial, since it reaches a massive audience around the world all at the same time. YouTube, a site where anyone can post videos, tutorials or anything else they have a mind to post, reaches up to 100 million visitors per month. By using this site as a source of advertising or marketing, companies or organisations are able to share their message in ways that would be impossible by traditional methods.

With the dawn of social networking, online marketing has evolved and changed for the good. Web savvy marketers are quickly finding better, easier and faster ways to make money online. One way that seems to be the overall favorite is by utilizing social networking websites to make a profit rather than for personal uses. If you are not using social networking for business purpose than you are pretty much loosing out on a lot of money. Why is social networking the ideal place to for your online business? There are many reasons actually, but the favorite is reason is because people and search engines love social networking sites.

People love them because there are a lot of prospects to market to and the possibilities for making a lot of money is greater than your typical website. Search engines love social networking sites because the content is changing everyday. New contents is being added every seconds on the top social networking sites and therefore search engines love to rank those types of websites higher in the SERPS.

Social Networking was originally designed for being social and has been adapted for marketing. Blatantly selling things on these sites will be frowned upon. A savvy marketer acquires a lot of friends then skillfully implies “go to my link.” This is where CTR comes into effect.

You should definitely complete your profile. Each site has a section that allows you to identify yourself. This is usually called the “profile.” The general public will have access to read it, unless you specify otherwise. Things like name address, favorite food, movies, poetry and generally what ever you want to say can be displayed in your profile. Your photo can usually be uploaded and an avatar, which is a small picture ( usually of cartoon nature ) can most likely be uploaded to your profile. The beauty in Social Bookmarking is it’s connection to major search engines.

Since social networking involves people of the same preferences, you can use it to track down a particular group, which is the target market of your products. For example, if your business is involved in computer software, then look for groups whose members are mostly IT professionals. Once you have found this group, it would not be difficult to join and be involved in discussions and forums since you are familiar with the topics. It would also help if you pay attention to the suggestions or comments during discussion in order to give you a pulse where your product may be lacking.

Social Bookmark sites or Social Network sites are in my opinion the same thing. At the time of this writing, the most famous is “Twitter.” You probably already know or heard about it one way or another. Turn on the news and you’ll hear of someone who made, what is known as a “Tweet” on Twitter. The terminology sounds ridiculous at first, but after getting accustom it’ll seem natural. This is a legitimate media form and everything pans out as normal.

you can make money with social bookmarking by better targeting a niche market that will be most interested in the products or services that you market. In this day and age, the most effective types of marketing plans and programs are those that are targeted towards a niche market. Through this type of effort, you really are connecting with individuals who will be most interested in obtaining your products or services.

Many people do not realize the potential of Google AdSense and are still looking for ways on how to make money with this method. Placing Google ads on websites or blogs and having people click on them to make money seems simple enough but the reality is if it was this easy then everyone would be making millions of dollars. The truth is most people only make a few dollars per month and give up after realizing it takes more work than just placing Google ads.

Social bookmarking involves the setting up of accounts on the many social bookmarking sites on the internet like MySpace, Stumbleupon and Google Bookmarks. Not much effort is needed in setting up an account in these services; all that is required is a user name and a password. Once you set up an account on the site, you click on the site and bookmark your page.

Another important point to keep in mid is that the more bookmarked you get on an article, story, video…, the better chances you will have for having that story on the front page of its specific category on which ever social book marking site you are using. Take digg for example.

The bookmarking process there, is called “digg”. So the more your article get “dugged” by people, the more traffic it will generate to your site, becouse your post will be more than likley shown on the first page of digg, whiche gets thousands of unique hits every day. Of course if you do write quality and useful content, your page will be book marked by others who found it to be useful and informative.

Social bookmarking is becoming a new trend when it comes to increasing your traffic in the World Wide Web. But because it’s relatively new, you still need to be backed up with these 8 key ways to make money with social bookmarking.

Promoting your site is a must if you want to make money with AdSense. Are you promoting your site primarily with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) which is basically trying to get to the first page of Google by link building, or are you promoting your site by other methods like social networking sites, social bookmarks, forum postings?

SEO may take a while to reach that coveted first page since it requires many good links to your site and I am talking about hundreds, even thousands of links depending on the keywords you are targeting. Submitting your sites to social networks, social bookmarks can give you popularity in the short term but it requires constant updating. Obviously there are pros and cons with both methods; I personally try to promote with both methods.

Read about Get one way linkss also read Directory submissions and Manual directory submission.

Black Hat SEO is also known as SEO spamming, and is when someone creates websites that have little or no value, that are intended to trick the search engines into offering irrelevant or low-quality search results.

Black Hat SEO will heavily leverage technology and automation in order to create tons of poor quality sites, and gain inbound links from other websites (link spam). Once the visitor has arrived to the website, the owner of the website will often use some kind of cloaking or redirect to show the visitor a sales page of the products, that is the really goal of the Black Hat SEO technique.

These are aggressive tactics used to gain high search engines rankings that do not comply with the philosophy of the search engines. Sites produced with black hat SEO techniques are considered unethical spam by most web surfers because they provide no real content or user experience. They basically look like pages of another search engine or paragraphs of jargon containing keywords instead of real content.

White Hat SEO focus on building quality content first and SEO second. White Hat SEO may use technology and automation to build their websites too, but they use it to accomplish different goals. They write content for people, not search engines. White Hat SEO tend to rely more on their content and marketing skills to achieve a top ranking, rather than automated programs.

White Hat SEO understand that good search engine rankings takes time and don’t try to rush results. White Hat SEO are able to get more inbound links from other websites, because their content is considered valuable. They go by the philosophy CONTENT IS KING.

A lot of SEO fall into the Gray Hat category, and there are many shades of gray. Some Gray Hat SEO tend to use more questionable tactics and take greater risks. Gray Hat SEO is all about risk versus reward. Some Gray Hat techniques may be frowned by the search engines, but are not necessarily against their rules, while other techniques may be more risky and should be used only after careful consideration.

Everybody should strive to be a white hat SEO and focus on writing quality content. However it may make sense for you in some instances to use Gray Hat SEO tactics to gain a competitive advantage. But when using Gray Hat SEO tactics it is very important, that you measure the risk and reward of each strategy, and determine for yourself, if some of these Gray Hat SEO strategies makes sense for your websites.

White Hat SEO and Black Hat SEO are terms that describe the methods you use to gain quality search engine rankings for your web site. One is a more of a long term strategy and one is a short term strategy.

A very easy way to distinguish between the two is though the amount of time involved in getting the desired results. White hat SEOs use methods that produce results slowly over time and only after a good deal of effort has been put into the site. Black hat SEOs offer you quick and easy results most, if not all, of which will obtained through deceptive practices.

The term white hat originates from old western movies where the good guys wore the white hats and the bad guys wore the black hats. Today the term white hat SEO refers to ethical search engine optimisation techniques and black hat SEO refers to unethical approaches.

White hat SEO follows the guidelines set down by the search engines themselves such as naturally linking to others sites and not buying links which the search engines don’t like. If a link to another website has to be bought it’s not a true vote for that website, as it has been placed there only for financial gain and not because the link would be of genuine interest to the websites visitors.

White Hat SEO is the opposite of Black Hat SEO. Generally, search marketers who practice White Hat SEO (or ethical organic search marketing) techniques try to improve their organic rankings in the search engine results pages (SERPs), while maintaining the integrity of their website and following Google’s steadfast set of rules.

SEO has come under great scrutiny by the public, mainly because of the increased unethical manipulation of this technique. And for this reason, there exist the terms White Hat and Black Hat SEO. Black Hat SEO is simply SEO techniques used to trick search engines immorally. White Hat SEO, on the other hand, concentrates on using ethical techniques to improve a particular website in the hope of being able to rank higher in search engine page results.

White Hat SEO is the only way to go if you are trying to market your website and generate traffic, while avoiding being penalized by search engines for unethical techniques. The core of the White Hat SEO approach is honesty and quality content. With a concentration on simplifying the structure of your website, ensuring that all software and programming is simple and clear for search engines to crawl your website, search engines will be more willing to rank your website higher for your optimized keywords or search terms.

There are one basic advantage and disadvantage of white hat SEO. You don’t risk penalization but it needs quite a long time to succeed. On the other hand black hat SEO can speed up the process.

With good SEO strategies you can expect a lot of visitors which will come to your website and earn you good money. To get the highest conversions your site should load as quickly as possible because your visitors will leave it if they will need to wait too long. Good uptime is also very important.

In the extreme, you could throw together a load of keywords and backlinks and they need not even make sense. This could be very effective short term but the crawlers used by the search engines are cleverer than that! These little spiders catch on very quickly to text like this and disregard it as spam and render the text ineffective. Black Hat SEO is very risky and short term and not ethical.

In between White hat SEO and Black Hat SEO is Gray Hat SEO which, as you can probably guess is a bit of both. Essentially it is less risky than Black Hat SEO but not as ethical as White Hat SEO.

Of course, the search engines, such as Google, Yahoo and Bing prefer White Hat SEO as it brings credibility to its site. The search engines are only useful if we, the user, can find what we are looking for without having to sift through a load of spammy text. I bet there are loads of you out there who have changed your e mail account because of the unacceptable level of spam you receive.

Pay per click advertising is one of the fastest growing sources of online advertising on the Internet today. Pay per click advertising is very cost effective and the traffic you will receive is all targeted to you products or services using keyword search technology. There are many different pay per click advertising services to choose from search the net and find the right company for you. I’ll show you what to look for in a pay per click search engine advertising company and how they work.

The concept of Pay-Per-Click Advertising is that you come up with “keywords” that you feel will bring visitors to your site. Once you have your keywords, then you will have to bid on them to get a position with that Pay-Per-Click Provider. Depending on the amount of your bid, will determine where you “rank” with that particular keyword. When a person searching on the Internet enters one of your keywords and finds your site on a page linked to this keyword, then they have the option to click on your site. Once they click on your site, you are charged for one click at the amount you have as your bid for that particular keyword.

As a PPC advertiser, you can easily build, customize, and manage your search campaigns, as well as closely monitor their performance. Typically, PPC advertisers measure their performance based on a combination of metrics, such as conversion rate, Return-On-Ad-Spend (ROAS), Cost-Per-Acquisition (CPA), Cost-Per-Lead (CPL), or Click-Through-Rate (CTR). All are essential measurements if you want to know your overall return on investment (ROI).

As a PPC advertiser you can set the amount you pay when someone clicks to your website from an ad you’ve placed in a search engine’s results. Google apportions a quality score, which is determined by a number of factors including how much you agree to pay per click, along with the average click-through rate of your ad copy, as well as the relevance of the landing page visitors are sent to. These factors determine how high your ad will appear in the search engine PPC listings. However, overbidding for poor-performing search phrases quickly leads to a failed PPC campaign. You can lose a lot of money with an untargeted campaign.

Pay per click advertising is recommended for newer sites. Yahoo/Overture and Google Adwords are two of the most popular pay per click advertising programs, as both allow for exposure across a number of website and search engines. Overture sponsored listings appear on Yahoo, MSN, and other engines, while Google Adwords also appear as part of the Google AdSense program. Assuming our limousine website owner uses Google Adwords, he can opt for AdSense exposure and send his ad to website related to his content.

Pay per click advertising is a contextual advertising model; the ads displayed alongside search results are chosen based on the keywords that the user has searched for. For example, suppose that you have a garden supply store. You can specify the keywords used in your PPC ads; let’s say you’ve chosen “flowerpots” here. When someone searches for this term, your ad will be displayed – this is a very important feature of contextual advertising; your ads are displayed only to people who already have an interest in the product or service you provide.

Pay per click is an and effective way to attract the most potential customers to your website. In fact, many online marketing experts are touting PPC as the absolute best way to assure steady profitability from your website, assuming that your website converts well.

What Is Cost Per Action Marketing? Cost Per Action Marketing, also known as “CPA Marketing” is a type of Affiliate Marketing that requires visitors to websites to complete certain actions, such as entering some contact information, (an email address for example) sign up for free trials or request a free product sample. Sometimes it involves asking the consumer to try a new product or service by making a small purchase.

CPA is the newest trend of Internet Marketing. Gone are the days when only a sale through your website could fetch you income. Now even if someone (through your website) enters just their Zip (postal) code, you can get paid for it. All you need to get started with this is find a CPA Network, sign up as a Publisher or Affiliate and you are good to go!

Cost Per Action is a Web advertising pricing model that lets advertisers to pay for every action associated with the advertisement. Sometimes being called as “Cost Per Acquisition,” Cost Per Action is in fact specific because it only includes Cost Per Acquisition and not all offers can be called as Cost Per Acquisition. Cost Per Action advertising is an advertising process that being done online, in which advertisers pays only per conversion. It differs widely from customary forms of Internet advertising like the “Cost Per Impression” and the “Cost Per Click” models.

Cost Per Action advertising is strictly performance based advertising, which means the advertiser doesn’t need to pay the publisher for each ad impression or for each clicks but has to pay only for the results. CPA networks that specialize in this kind of advertising typically take the most of the risk in the system. Most CPA networks receive an agreed upon fee from the advertisers for each lead or for each sale, and pays out most of the fees to their associates in exchange for the traffic that makes the conversions for the advocate.

Because of the nature of the Cost Per Action model, most CPA networks’ revenues depend on volume defer to conversions. The very reason why CPA networks not only relies on their affiliates but also on their advertisers is because the more the conversions are higher, the more they earn subsequent revenues. Originally seen as a way for an individual or an upstart company to develop their business, Cost Per Action advertising is currently being utilized by majority of branded corporations all over the world and is considered as an effective and low risk technique of minimizing expenses and maximizing sales.

CPA networks, or affiliate marketing operations based on a Cost-Per-Action model, have been around for years, even though they’re seldom discussed in the Internet Marketing arena, and just slightly more often in the affiliate marketing realm. Cost per action, also sometimes called cost per acquisition, is like most other affiliate marketing programs in that you make money from actions taken by targeted traffic your refer to the merchant’s site – but that’s where the similarity usually ends.

In regular affiliate programs, the money you earn is a percentage of each sale you make. With CPA offers, usually you’re earning your affiliate commissions based not on sales but on other actions the merchant wants to effect. It can be downloading a free report, asking for a free sample, having free information mailed out to you, getting access to a private members’ area of a website, etc.

Cost Per Action programs are primarily focused on the lead generation aspect of the business. They have emerged as the preferred way for advertisers to gather leads and collect information that will be useful later on. CPA internet marketing also is good for the marketer who is attempting to establish or improve an advertising campaign that provides value for product received.

Blog commenting is indeed a good way to build inbound links and reputation over a period of time. Blog Commenting is most effective when you leave your links at high PageRank blogs. Blog commenting is a wonderful way to start developing relationships with others. Indeed this might be very helpful if you use blog commenting for link building a practice which is quite popular it seems. Think of it as an extension of forum participation, without the exclusivity of a forum.

Effective blog commenting is one way to increase your own blog’s readers and search engine ranking. Consider these five basic points that any novice internet marketer can implement when commenting on their favorite blogs.

What a lot of people tend to forget, however, is that there are best practices for everything, including blog commenting. I actually argue that most people go about a blog commenting strategy the wrong way and there is a higher leverage technique that most blogger don’t do, but even if you follow the basic advice and just get out there and be a prolific commenter it will build traffic, and here’s proof. But seriously I have found commenting on other blogs to be one of my best sources of traffic, because then they feel like they need to comment my blog.

A blog is not written just so it can be left there to rot. Aside from the fact that you want to share some relevant information to other people, you also probably want to have more and more readers interested in what you have to say. In addition, blog commenting is also as important to make your blog appear more active.

It is a fact of life that not all your readers will readily post a comment to your blog. Even if they find that it helped them a lot, not many can spare some time to put on a simple comment. This happens all the time. You could either make your blog more interesting or have friends and other acquaintances make some comments to get the ball rolling.

Most bloggers particularly those who are already in the blogging industry are already blind about these comments. As mentioned above, blogs are regularly updated, so the owner knew already when a comment is a blog spam comment or not. For the reason, the owner is no longer reading such comment, instead, just click on the spam comment option and click the moderate comment button with even considering other comments.

To do blog commenting the correct way it is pretty simple, take time to read the blog post and when you make a comment make it relevant to what the post is about, do not make the mistake of just reading the title of the blog post to save time and making a comment just from that.

Because most likely your comment may be a bit off topic and you risk getting your comment deleted or not approved. Also another important part is making sure that the blog is do follow, you will find that majority of the blog posts are no follow. There are a few ways to find out if a blog post Is do follow, you can either check the page source and look for the do follow tag on other comments, or there are various IE add-ons or Firefox add-ons that highlight no follow links.

One of the most essential parts in any business endeavor is when the time comes that you need to publicize the launching of your product. The launching of the product speaks about all the endeavors undertaken and the hard work poured into the product beginning with the consolidation of ideas to creating the product up until the launching the product itself.

The product launching is the battery test of all. It is with how the prospective clients reactions that a product’s success can be based. Although, of course the ultimate of all is when it has driven sales. Nevertheless, the product launching is as important. To ensure that all things are well during the product launching, the tips below can help.

Product launching is an important aspect of product promotion strategy. There are examples of how a perfect product launching results in a product success in the market.

Product launching is considered one of the most nerve-wrecking moments in the career of any product launcher. The product launching itself tests the capability of both the marketers and the product. In this stage, everything that has been done for the rest of the product creation and product conception times are going to be tested against the taste of the consuming public. However, with product launching, there are still some simple secrets that one can take to ensure the launching of the product becomes a successful one.

If you think that product launching is not very important, you are definitely thinking it the wrong way. In fact, your products should be introduced to your target customers with full blast. Moreover, this will be your ticket to success or not. The launch will surely leave an impression to your clients. That is why you should do your best. If your clients love the product launching, they will surely hunger for more and they will be loyal to your product if you give them what they really need.

Product launching marks a milestone for every company. It is the moment where new products are unveiled to potential clients. The success of the products in terms of sales and popularity largely depends on the product launching, as such, it must be well-thought out and highly publicized to create curiosity among your potential buyers.

Make a careful planning on the date, the time, and the place of the grand product launch. These elements are some of the most neglected at times without knowing the repercussions that it can bring to the product launch should they be mismanaged. The date should be planned ahead of time and should consider any coinciding big national events that may cripple your own product launching event. The time of the product launch is also essential as there is a time in a day that is considered a dead hour for all. You would not want to, of course, be leading a product launch that is set on a dead hour. The place should never be also neglected as this is the location where visitors will be spending the activity with you.

Create the most consumer-friendly and catchy packaging. A great deal of product success is attributed to packaging. Be very creative when you make packaging for your product. It must be attention-grabbing, easily recognizable, and cost effective. If you don’t have the talent, you can hire a professional designer or ads visualizer. A little investment in this area can have enormous benefits later.

PPC or pay per click is a service wherein an advertiser selects precise keywords or phrases and then creates a listing that will show up when someone searches for that phrase. The advertiser decides the amount he is ready to spend on each click for their listing which results in a visit to their site – thus the term “pay per click”.

Normally, Content sites charge a fixed price per click rather than use a bidding system. But when other advertisers have opted for the same keyword or phrase, whoever is willing to spend the most shows up first and the others following in order. It’s a competitive marketplace – the higher you bid, the higher your advertisement will be displayed in the list.

Pay per click advertising programs are an excellent way to promote your website and in many cases help you to take advantage of search engine traffic without needing to worry too much about search engine optimization. In this article we will be looking at how Pay per click advertising such as Google Adwords can benefit your website promotion efforts and increase the results you get when you promote your website.

Pay per click is one of the most popular and expanding forms of business promotion today in internet marketing. It’s popular, because you can literally sign up for a campaign, get your ads running, and start bringing in traffic to your site within 10-15 minutes.

Pay-per-click advertising is a popular and modern form of advertising used on websites, online ad networks, and search engines.
You, as an advertiser bid on “keywords” relating to your industry that you feel potential customers will type into the search bar when they are looking for a product or service. Pay-per-click advertising, like any other form of advertising, can be highly competitive.

The best keywords will be sought out by your competitors, who will attempt to deny you the ability to make use of them. In turn, you will be attempting to do the same to them to ensure that the reader traffic is directed only to your site.

Pay-per-click advertising is a type of search engine marketing where you pay a small fee (it can be as small as a few cents!) every time someone clicks on your ad and visits your website. For example, when you do a Google search, look on the right hand side of the results page. These are all PPC adverts, all being shown on the first or second page of the search engine results. Because you decide the specific keyword searches where your advertisement is displayed, PPC advertising is truly one of the most cost effective ways to advertise online.

Ecommerce affiliate programs are popular online marketing programs in which online sales people or affiliates receive commission in exchange for sales, referrals and registrations from online merchants. There are many online merchants to select from via affiliate program directories or affiliate networks on the web.

Ecommerce affiliate programs’ main benefit is that it allows the affiliate to work from home with minimal effort and flexible hours to boot. It is a low risk, low investment small home based business opportunity which is would be ideal for those looking to earn extra income from a home business venture.

The attraction of owning affiliate ecommerce stores is pretty obvious to anyone looking to make money through affiliate programs. Firstly you can have multiple categories, all creating an income. Then you actually have your own website whereby you can capture email address if you want and build your list. Thirdly you have the benefit of search engine food for the spiders giving you organic search result traffic.

Affiliate programs offer people a great way to be a part of e-commerce. You don’t need to have your own business product or service to offer. Instead you will make money buy helping to promote what other people have for sale. You won’t be their employee but an independent person with your own e-commerce business. If that sounds exciting then you should find out more about affiliate programs.

Affiliate programs have become the popular new way to attract potential clients. Not only are these programs becoming popular, but they can be extremely effective at bringing new traffic to businesses’ sites. However, despite the success they can bring, most affiliate programs are of little value. Merchants are becoming more and more informed about affiliate programs, and are beginning to root out those of little worth.

Affiliate programs are also ideal for blogs. Affiliate program allow to create a business relationship between the merchant of a product or service and a website owner who promotes the merchant’s offerings. Affiliates(website owner) earns a commission from the program owner for each referral that results, simply by putting an affiliate banners on their own website.

The Internet now boasts of millions upon millions of businesses that are fighting to get the attention of potential customers. If you don’t play your cards right you may just be among the other millions of online businesses languishing in the lonely corner of obscurity. Every online business are doing their best to find ways to at least corner a market, get a good share of customers and to have a steady increase in sales. Affiliate Marketing is the Internet version of commission sales. You make a deal with a company where they agree to pay you some amount of money to display some type of ad to visitors at your site to get them to go to the company’s site and do something.

Affiliate programs are a profitable way for online businesses of all sizes to generate incremental income. When it comes to managing an affiliate program, companies have two options — hiring an in-house affiliate manager or outsourcing their program’s management.
The most important rule when picking affiliates to promote your online affiliate program is to pick ones that would be of interest to those who would likely visit your niche site. Otherwise they will be promoting a product to a group of people who do not even want nor need it. If your niche site targets parents of young children, then promote baby products. If you niche site targets gardeners, then promote gardening products. If you promote baby products to gardeners, you are almost guaranteed to not make a profit no matter how much money the affiliate promotes your products.
